Will the treatments harm my flowers and shrubs?+
No. We use selective formulations and precision application equipment specifically designed to target weeds while leaving your ornamentals unharmed. New plantings can be flagged in advance so we can adjust around them.
How often do beds need treatment?+
Most properties receive four to six visits per year, spaced to match the germination cycles of common weed species. The exact cadence depends on bed size, sun exposure, mulch condition and existing weed pressure.
Should I still mulch my beds?+
Yes. A clean two- to three-inch mulch layer suppresses weed germination physically while our pre-emergent treatments work chemically. Together, the two-layer defense is far more effective than either alone.
Can you treat right after I plant new flowers?+
We always coordinate around new plantings. Brand-new perennials and annuals need a few weeks to establish before some treatments are advisable. Let us know about new plantings and we will adjust the plan accordingly.
Will this work in rock or gravel beds too?+
Absolutely. Decorative rock and gravel beds are often the worst weed offenders because seeds blow in and germinate in the dust that accumulates between stones. Our pre-emergent program is highly effective on these surfaces.
